I have been a math, science, history, and music tutor since high school. I conduct for a church choir and have taken piano lessons for many years. During my two years attending graduate school at Ohio University, I was responsible for teaching an introductory college course. I love to learn, which is why I love teaching children. Every child learns differently, because of this, teaching is a learning process as well! I believe that students learn best through hands on activities that allow them to internalize the concepts they are struggling with. Whether it is using math manipulatives to understand multiplication and division or using letter tiles to understand consonant blends in reading, hands on activities are the best way to learn.
