Experience Summary
I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Eastern Kentucky University in 2010 with a Bachelors of Science in Criminal Justice. I am currently in my third semester at EKU pursuing my Masters in Public Administration. Through my coursework in my undergraduate and graduate programs I have gained skills in conducting research, writing all forms of papers, public speaking, and statistical analysis. Over the last five years I have worked with children and young adults of various ages as a camp counselor, track coach, mentor and tutor. I have tutored students in English, college introductory skills, political science, and sociology.
Teaching Style
I really enjoy working with children and have done so in many different capacities. I believe in learning through participation and repetition. I am laid back, but persistent.I feel that a child has to find their own style of learning and I am dedicated to helping them achieve that.
