Mr. Frederick Vaughan has a very extensive and diversified musical background as a woodwind instrumentalist. He has performed professionally in 25 countries touring with several bands and ensembles such as rock bands, jazz bands, jazz combos, New Orleans style brass bands, military bands, polka bands, chamber groups, and orchestras. He as played for numerous dignitaries including, 3 United States presidents, ambassadors, foreign presidents, and congressmen. During his time with United States Navy Band Southeast he was featured as a soloist numerous times on clarinet, saxophone, and flute in a variety of classical, rock, and jazz groups. I have only one year left before obtaining my advanced degree should I decide to return to school. I have also been a tutor and mentor for at-risk youth. After graduation with my BSEE, I have been trying out employment in the Engineering field. My math and physics skills have become the front-runners in my tutoring career. This past summer, I tutored students attending Boston University and Boston College in Allston and Brighton, Massachusetts. The areas of tutoring that I offered were: Math - All calculus, Linear Algebra, Ordinary Differential Equations. Science - Physics I, II, Statics/Dynamics. A Little Bit About Me...

I took the Montessori Method courses in my twenties, and was so fascinated by it I decided to get a degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Early Childhood. From there, I went to on to teach all elementary grades and subjects in both private and public schools. For a time, I taught English as a Second Language to both children and adults, and then moved into my favorite area, music!
