I try to make teaching a fun learning experience at the same time making it as practical as possible.My experince tells me everyone learns at different speeds and to invidualize each persons education experience is very helpful.
I taught for ten years in the chicago public school system,mostly seventh and eighth grades.My next career was in real estate finance where I have almost 30 years of experience.I owned a mortgage company where I trained all the new loan officers.Also I was an owner of a small savings and loan where I also instucted new employees in many phases of banking.I recently was a recruiter for the us census bureau where I tested about 1000 individuals who applied for work with the census.

My comments on tutoring World History : I can help with world history.

I have done private tutoring of high school students in math from pre-algebra to calculus and in other subjects. I have also home schooled adopted daughters from lower grades to high school level, including teaching English as a second language. In graduate school I was a teaching assistant in an electric machinery laboratory for non-electrical engineering majors. My own experience with standardized tests includes having taken the ACT in 1971 with scores ranging from 22 (76th percentile) in English to 31 (97th percentile) in math with a composite of 27 (93rd percentile) and having passed the GRE in 1975. My comments on tutoring World History : My area of expertise with world history is German. This was a big part of my undergrad degree in German. I also have been to over 20 countries.
