IMPROVE READING AND WRITING SCORES IN CLASS AND ON THE ACT.

I have been an AP Literature and Composition teacher as well as Twelfth grade Language Arts instructor for over 16 years. I am acutely aware of the needs of students as it relates to mastering reading and writing skills. I have also taught an ACT Prep course for the past 5 years after extensive training at workshops and conferences. My comments on tutoring English : Graded 2.75 G.P.A.

I believe sometimes it is the teacher failing not the student. To become a Doctor we don't always have a choice. i was blind in my left eye and completed on a level equal to all other students. Now they call them special needs. I believe in cognitive dissonance is best way of knowing the retention is high. Repetition is not like having the knowledge of the empirical charts in chemistry and memorizing. A scientific method is used to achieve this by chemist. A degree teaches us "How to Learn" in any subject or later in "Work any Job.
