Creative, energetic tutor with special needs experience

I homeschooled a gifted third grader, including administering standardized end-of-grade test, for 1 year. I have tutored homeschooled first and third graders in math, reading, writing, social studies, and art for the last 6 months. I tutored a 8-12-year-old with autism spectrum for 4 years. My comments on tutoring Spanish : I'm Hispanic/Latino and very fluent in Spanish.

I like interacting with students and openly communicating and socializing with students on topics related to math and real-world situations of their own thinking.
I tutored an elementary school student in his math class and then that same school year in the Spring semester I helped out a college student with his pre-Calculus course. This was in 2013-2014 school year and it was a payment at my own discretion and on my own. I also have had experience working in an administration position in Human Resources area and it certainly helped me in organizational skills and communication skills.

Spanish is one of my top subjects!

I tailor my teaching to the learning sales and needs of my students, but I personally like to make my lesions Nd sessions as realistic as possible. If the lesson's goals allow for it, I involve reading, writing, listening, and speaking in an authentic way. I also try to begin lessons with a formative assessment to gauge prior knowledge. I just completed a Spanish Community College Teaching MA program at Appalachian State University a few weeks ago.
