My tutoring strategies: -throughout my experiences, I realized that each person is different and require different teaching methods depending on the individual's preference -I prefer to use study skills that will benefit the individual; I have a variety of strategies depending on the subject as well. some individuals learn well using flashcards, while others prefer repetitive writing for memorization - I have had a couple of ADHD clients that prefer learning games and activities because it helps them stay active, but focused at the same time

I just completed a Spanish Community College Teaching MA program at Appalachian State University a few weeks ago. I believe in letting the child set the pace when it comes to private tutoring. I would listen to child to learn what truly interests them and inspires them. I would then use this is my lessons so they enjoy the learning process. Children enjoy learning anything when it is taught in the appropriate way. I learned this very quickly teaching English to French elementary age students.
