Creative, energetic tutor with special needs experience

I homeschooled a gifted third grader, including administering standardized end-of-grade test, for 1 year. I have tutored homeschooled first and third graders in math, reading, writing, social studies, and art for the last 6 months. I tutored a 8-12-year-old with autism spectrum for 4 years. I tailor my teaching to the learning sales and needs of my students, but I personally like to make my lesions Nd sessions as realistic as possible. If the lesson's goals allow for it, I involve reading, writing, listening, and speaking in an authentic way. I also try to begin lessons with a formative assessment to gauge prior knowledge. My comments on tutoring Spanish : I can tutor Beginning and Intermediate Spanish.

I adapt to the student's learning style. However, I often find that object association works well for most.

My comments on tutoring Spanish : I'm Hispanic/Latino and very fluent in Spanish.

I like interacting with students and openly communicating and socializing with students on topics related to math and real-world situations of their own thinking.
I tutored an elementary school student in his math class and then that same school year in the Spring semester I helped out a college student with his pre-Calculus course. This was in 2013-2014 school year and it was a payment at my own discretion and on my own. I also have had experience working in an administration position in Human Resources area and it certainly helped me in organizational skills and communication skills.

My teaching style is simple. As it has not been professionally nurtured I have taken my ques from those I have taught. It is simply to provide what is needed. I prefer to spend time with a student and learn what works for them. I believe trial of multiple styles to find success is critical to each student. As the child of a school system administrative professional, I have always spent extra time in the school environment. As a high school freshman I began to tutor elementary school students based on the needs highlighted by their teachers.
