I am a certified Social Studies teacher in Pennsylvania working on completing my Master's in the Art of Education. I have 26 hours completed for Master and only need 6 more credits for completion. I have been student teaching, tutoring and observing over the passed to years. I have worked with students from Pre-K to collegiate level. I have worked mainly in English with ELL students and Social Studies, although I also have a passion for Math and Sciences. The assessment of needs is based upon the student’s own statement of his abilities as well as empirical evidence of his performance and capabilities. 2) Develop a plan and design goals to meet those needs. Explain to the student the plan and the goals of how we are going to meet his/her needs. 3) Assess performance and adjust the plan and goals as needed. 4) Throughout the process, keep in mind that both the tutor and the student should have an enjoyable and rewarding experience.
