I have been tutoring for about 5 years ranging in ages from elementary school to adults who are trying to further their education. I try my hardest to break things down to the simpliest form to better help students understand. If I have tried absolutely everything and the concept is still not grasped, I will find someone who is more knowledgeable than me and seek their guidance. Then, we will all work together to ensure success! I went to a Magnet Middle School which taught me accerlated Math and Science. I then went on to take all Honors courses, and some Advanced Placement courses, in High school. I graduated with Honors with an Advanced Diploma. My teaching style is tailored to the individual. The first thing I do when I'm trying to teach someone something is determine their learning style. If they don't know it I help them figure it out. I do find that most people learn best by diving in and doing it themselves first, while I serve as a "safety net".
