I have been a tutor in biology and anthropology since 1998 at the college level. I have been teaching in both areas since 2003 part time at various community colleges. I am also certified as a substitute teacher in NV and hold a license to teach biology in grades 7-12. I use a variety of aides - lecture, video, images, models, hands on and so forth to address several types of learning. I have a real passion for teaching and hold several awards voted for by students. As a college graduate, I was extremely driven to achieve a high level of academic excellence. I earned my bachelors degree in Communication Studies with a minor in Philosophy. As a Comm Studies major I was held to a high standard of technical writing with essay and would always use credible sources for my research. For the past 10 years, I have worked in my community, helping to better the lives of children.
