Experience Summary
As a college graduate with both a bachelor's and master's degree, I have always been seeking excellence in learning. I have, over the years written many papers, reports, and essays, and consequently have learned and used many writing skills in many contexts. I have written academic papers, mental health reports, and sermons. For the past 20+ years in my work as a pastor and mental health rehab specialist I have worked directly with youth and children in a teaching role, healping them to learn about themselves and to express it verbally and in writing.
Teaching Style
I enjoy teaching and see it as one of my gifts. In all of my jobs I've seen it as my goal to help others learn and grow. I believe that everyone is a natural learner, everyone is curious. Each of us has a different learning style and I am sensitive to that in each person that I teach. I am a naturally calm and friendly person and I always discover something I like about the people with whom I work. I love to inspire and encourage and help learners experience the joy of discovery.
