About Me

Experience Summary

I have been a tutor in biology and anthropology since 1998 at the college level. I have been teaching in both areas since 2003 part time at various community colleges. I am also certified as a substitute teacher in NV and hold a license to teach biology in grades 7-12.

Teaching Style

I use a variety of aides - lecture, video, images, models, hands on and so forth to address several types of learning. I have a real passion for teaching and hold several awards voted for by students. I love to incorporate many different real life and science fiction examples as well to capture interest and inspire thinking!
