One of the most exciting things about teaching E.S.L. is the feeling that one is learning something new every day. I vividly remember several groups who taught me so many things related to education more so than books. My goal was to search for new ways of becoming a better teacher. In particular, I benefited from working in different places and with students of many ages. The beginning of my career started off as a constant problem because I had to deal with my student’s affective and cognitive development and their low level of linguistic competence in their target language. A Little Bit About Me...

I love making lessons fun and interactive for children. If a children does not understand a concept one way I find other ways to explain it.
When I was in elementary school I would help my mother with daycare at our home. I would teach the children new concepts and play with them. During high school I joined the pathfinder club and taught some of the younger children. During college, I tutored elementary children in reading and in math and would make interventions for them. I graduated from Southern Adventist University December 2018 with a bachelors in elementary education. I have spent time substitute teaching in elementary classrooms, working as a behavior teachers assistant, and working at summer camps.

I have earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Miami University in history. I currently am enrolled at University of Tennessee at Chattanooga to obtain a Masters Degree in Education with a license to teach in the state of Tennessee in the middle grades. I have worked as a nanny during undergraduate for a couple different families. I have also worked through the YMCA as an after school teacher where I helped students K-6 with their homework. After graduating with a BA is History, I have worked as a Pre-Kindergarten Teacher, a Kindergarten Substitute Teacher, and an after school teacher for children 4 years through kindergarten.
I enjoy working with children, however, I don't feel I have one teaching style. I like to be able to adapt to how the children learn the best. My favorite teaching style is hands on activities such as experiments and crafts. I take pride in my creativity.

For the past ten years I have worked in central Mexico. My responsibilities there included learning Spanish and teaching by lecturing, classes, home studies, and children's clubs. I love to teach children and adults who are motivated to learn. In Mexico I have taught English to those wanting to learn the language.
