I have taught high school Spanish in a Christian school for 3 years. In college, I traveled to South America 3 times, and returned after graduating to teach in a language institute in Chile. I have many years of leadership experience as well as one-on-one teaching experience having taught private piano lessons for 9 years.
Laid-back, speech-focused. Although I am an expert and grammar and understanding grammar by relating it to English, I am a firm believer that simply speaking the language using subjects the student is interested in is the best way to learn and retain a language. When I was in elementary school I would help my mother with daycare at our home. I would teach the children new concepts and play with them. My comments on tutoring Spanish : I minored in Spanish in College. I can teach the basics all the way up to Spanish III.
