As a premedical student, my main focus during college was on biology, chemistry, physics, and math. Through extensive lab work, I have also learned how to write scholarly reports. During my undergraduate years, I have taught inorganic and organic chemistry to sophomore and junior undergraduate students for 4 months. Also, I have taught elementary and middle school students about labs in Birmingham's McWane Center. Currently, I work for Examkrackers, which is a company that focuses on the MCAT exam. I prepare and teach lectures to students who hope to get into medical school. Even though I focus mainly on math and science, I have experience with different age groups and am comfortable teaching students above the age of 5.

A Little Bit About Me...

I served both as a tutor at the Center of Teaching and Learning (CTL) and as an academic peer advisor for the college of Arts and Sciences at the University of Alabama. At the university, i gave lectures in science courses including chemistry, physics, and mathematics. I know when a student is confused or bored and i know how to change the teaching style to keep them focused. More importantly, i relate scientific concepts to everyday activities which have proven to be very effective in the art of teaching.
I obtained a bachelor of science in chemistry from the University of Alabama. But more importantly, i was deeply involved with cutting-edge scientific research throughout my undergraduate experience.
