During my undergraduate years, I have taught inorganic and organic chemistry to sophomore and junior undergraduate students for 4 months. Also, I have taught elementary and middle school students about labs in Birmingham's McWane Center. Currently, I work for Examkrackers, which is a company that focuses on the MCAT exam. I obtained a bachelor of science in chemistry from the University of Alabama. But more importantly, i was deeply involved with cutting-edge scientific research throughout my undergraduate experience. In essence, I didn't just study to pass my exams, I studied to understand the material so that I can be able to teach someone else. I have also tutored introductory physics I and II at the university of Alabama center for Teaching and Learning. At first, I started out as a "typical" tutor - and had one-on-one tutoring sessions with college students. The session lasted about one hour per student. As time progressed though, i was assigned a classroom with up to 20 physics students at a time.
