I love to bring history to live for students so I like to explain events in a story format. It is important for students to memorize facts, however, so I focus on memorization techniques and organization. Reading requires comprehension so I use a combination of techniques including reading out loud and repetitive reading. I was employed by the Interior Design department at FSU to teach undergraduate courses, being an instructor of record for the inital course for the department, Design Fundamentals. I have a passion for teaching and learning- it runs in the family as my husband is a middle school science and math teacher. Our parents are lifelong edcuators in Wakulla County.
