I believe that every child has the ability to learn, and do well in school. I also realized that what might work for one student, won’t always work with another, so being able to adapt to each child is something I love to do. I want every child to be able to go to school confident every day, no matter what is thrown at them, because they understand what they are doing.

I love to share my "hands-on" experiences of the physical world with the students I teach. No matter their age, students can be captivated by the physical world around them. Science doesn't have to be boring. Mathematics is the "language" of science. I taught my own children an appreciation for learning mathematical tools as a means of understanding the physical sciences. My daughter presently hold a doctorate in Mathematics from Dartmouth.
