I began to realize my love and aptitude for tutoring as a volunteer Japanese instructor for the Daikin home-stay program in 2006. The next two years I volunteered my time with Rosie's International Services tutoring Spanish. At the beginning of the Spring 2008 semester, the Head of the Foreign Language Department, Dr. Maier, submitted my name to a tutoring department at UAH, where I worked tutoring Spanish, Japanese, Latin, Chinese, and English as a Second Language until I graduated in Spring 2010. Although I do not have an education degree nor teaching certificate, I was hired as a part-time Spanish teacher at Austin High School 2010-2011, where I started an informal Japanese Culture Club. The first thing I do with any new student is identify his or her learning style so that I may incorporate those specific strategies into my lesson for an effective and personalized learning experience

I love teaching and interacting with willing minds. My main goal is teaching a student in a way that they could understand ,as we all know every child needs a different approach.With patients and delligence i will discover a way of getting the child to understand the particular subject to how it best fits them. I was educated at UAB for a degree in Political Science and English. My English and grammar skills are impecable. I also obtained an MBA from UAB though my greatest business experience was actually working as a banker for fifteen years.
