Experience Summary
My experience ranges a great deal and encompasses a lot of subject matter from K-12 Math to English and Literature. My wide range of expertise is indicative of my schooling where I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications that exposed me to the Liberal Arts world; while my minor in Industrial and Systems Engineering and Master of Science degree in Information Technology exposed me to more technical subject matter (i.e. various levels of Math). I have had the privilege of tutoring approximately 5 clients in the span of roughly 2 years and each one under my tutelage boasted significant performance improvement in subject areas they found initially challenging.
Teaching Style
I love teaching and interacting with willing minds. Teaching "runs in the blood", where my mother is an excellent teacher in the Huntsville City School District, my father was a former teacher and all of my aunts and uncles functions or functioned in some teaching capacity. I believe that teaching should be made enjoyable and not laborious. The goal of teaching is to relate concepts and principles in such a way that a pupil is able to apply appropriately those principles in any situation that he/she may be confronted with whether in life or in a test. My joy is seeing a student excel and gain confidence in their ability to learn and to be tested on what they have learned.
