I have 20 years experience working with children in multiple capacities. I was a full time teacher before I had a family of my own and decided to begin tutoring. I love working one-on-one with children. I have tutored for the past ten years in multiple subject areas but decided that my true passion is teaching children to read. I believe that when a child knows how to read, the course of their life will be forever changed!

I have recently graduated from UNLV with a BA in fine art with minors in art history and criminal justice. I have taken classes in education and am pursuing a master's degree in art history so I can teach on the college level. I have taught and tutored many individuals in art, English, and math. I was on the math team in high school and have gone to nationals for Science Olympiad so I can also tutor in the science related subjects. Having begun my first year of teaching in the fall of 2010, I realize that my heart is truly in education. In May of 2010 I received my bachelor degree, BS in Early Childhood Education. During my educational preparation at Franciscan University of Steubenville, I worked in the surrounding schools for over 200 hours.
