My teaching style is different. I like to teach students in a way that they will understand it. Every student learns differently. I work at the pace that fits there need and teach at there pace. There is no rush. I was a teaching assistant last year at my old high school in Georgia. I've tutored many student and have helped them pass many subjects. My style of teaching really depends on the student and his/her learning style. Different students learn in different ways. I believe it is my responsibility to find which style works best for the student(s). First teaching job was in a school for severely autistic children. After being there for a year I taught in a residential home for boys. This was challenging but probably one of my favorite jobs as a teacher. Because of the distance from home to work (about 1-1/2 hrs.), I applied at an urban school 20 minutes from my home. My first job there was managing the Young Parents Program.
