I believe that I am in a unique position to help your students learn both physics and math. The experiences that I have had teaching various math courses and physics, I think, allow me to frame lessons that address the subjects in a way that dovetails with students’ previous knowledge, and asks and answers the essential questions that the math or physics curriculum should involve. I graduated from the UConn with a B.S. in physics and a minor in mathematics. Because I have used calculus and linear algebra on a daily basis as a means of solving problems I have developed a fundamental understanding of mathematics; an understanding that only someone who has used thse mathematical tools extensively can achieve.
