I have taught Genetics at University of Nebraska Omaha and been a lab instructor for general biology and Microbiology during my PhD program at UNL. Currently I am a Post Doctoral Research Assistant/Lab Manager at UNL and I am co-mentoring 6 graduate students and 2 undergraduate students. In the past I have tutored many students in subjects ranging from Algebra to Biology to Graduate Level Cell Biology Classes. Prior to and during my employment with Metropolitan Community College (Between 1998 and 2007) I was a volunteer tutor with non traditional students in the Adult Basic Education/General Education Development ABE/GED program of Metro community college. I love to see the proverbial light come on and the students eyes widen and they say "OH! I get it!" I've tutored a wide variety of students from diverse backgrounds.
