I love getting to know each child before determining exactly the teaching style he or she needs. I love to keep their attention by using my creativity to inspire them and look at things in a different way. I want them to love learning and to retain the information, each in their own way.

I have worked in the area of accounting for over 25 years. I worked my way through college while working a fulltime job and completed my degree in 2003 with enough hours to sit for the CPA exam for which I am currently studying. My work background has included all facets of the accounting industry. While completing my final few classes, I worked as a bookkeeper for one of the local accounting firms. Once my degree was completed I accepted a staff accountant position. Currently, I am employed with the State of Alabama as a Unemployment Compensation Field Deputy.
