I worked my way through college while working a fulltime job and completed my degree in 2003 with enough hours to sit for the CPA exam for which I am currently studying. My work background has included all facets of the accounting industry. While completing my final few classes, I worked as a bookkeeper for one of the local accounting firms. I left there in January 2010 to pursue my Masters in Accounting. I gained valuable experience in reading, writing and the application of mathematical formulas through working in a fast paced accounting office. A Little Bit About Me...

My experience working in a local high school--as the school bookkeeper, as a substitute teacher, and as the cheerleader coach has given me the skills I need to teach and tutor others. I have a Master's Degree in Business Administration with emphasis on Accounting, and was asked by a former professor to teach a Principles of Accounting class. At the time, I was employed full time and could not accept the position. I have extensive skills in writing essays and research reports. Having passed three of the four parts of the CPA exam, (I am currently preparing for the 4th and final section), demonstrates my knowledge of the subject matter. I also attended the Becker Review classes held at Auburn University in Montgomery from June--November, 2008.
