I started out as a French Trainee at “Chinmaya International Residential School”, Coimbatore, immediately after I had completed my B.A. I had worked at the school for one Academic year (2004 -2005). I am a student-centered educator and I was known among my students as someone who was more than just an instructor because I took the progress of my students in class as my personal problem and took exceptional measures such as working beyond time and relentlessly motivating them to overcome their difficulties. I have earned a bachelor's degree in Russian Language and Literature, a master's degree in Russian Linguistics, a second master's degree in Russian Language and Literature, a certificate in Arabic Language, and an associate's degree in Elementary Education. Since receiving my bachelor’s degree in 2007, I have been involved in teaching students of all ages and backgrounds. I have a very strong background in writing. My experience includes my graduate research and thesis, news writing for a tv station, in addition to 6 years of writing for academia. I spent a semester in Pau, France and can tutor beginning to intermediate level students. I graduated with a 3.9 GPA in high school, college and graduate school. I don't believe in giving a student the answers to their questions. Rather, I think it is important to help them find the answers themselves--understanding the process will enable them to perform on their own. For example, rather than editing a student's paper, I will go through it line by line and have them help me find the errors.
