Experience Summary
As a graduate student at the University of Maryland, I taught Russian 101 to undergraduate students for two semesters. I also taught Russian 101 at the University of Virginia for two semesters as a teacher’s assistant. I taught English as a Second Language through Black Hawk College for two semesters, and I taught infants and toddlers at Best Beginnings preschool and child care center for 2 years and 5 months. I have earned a bachelor's degree in Russian Language and Literature, a master's degree in Russian Linguistics, a second master's degree in Russian Language and Literature, a certificate in Arabic Language, and an associate's degree in Elementary Education.
Teaching Style
I have experience teaching many different age groups, cultural and ethnic backgrounds, learning styles, etc. I know what it takes to learn, because I have done it before, and I take what I have learned and apply it to teaching. I am patient and energetic and I have a love for learning and teaching. I especially love to teach math, physics, and foreign language.
