My teaching style depends upon the learning style of the student. For example, if the student is a visual learner then the student is taught using pictures, books, charts, etc. Or if the student is an auditory learner then the student is taught orally with pictures, books, charts used as supports. As a special needs teacher I individualized lessons for students. I have 27 years of special needs teaching experience. I have taught students in all grade levels. I taught at the elementary level (K-6th) for 14 years; at the junior high level (7th-8th) for 3 years and at the high school level (9th-12th) for 10 years. I do not have a degree. I have been instructed by the teachers I have worked with. My style is to let the student know that they are to be attentive, polite, and to try their best to do the lessons. There are so many different ways to teach and understand a concept, and I try to search out the technique that best fits a child in need. I have been a teacher and tutor for a few years. I taught in a high school English and Music. I have love teaching and working with children since I can remember. I believe and a child needs a good trusting relationship with his teacher in order to learn the objective of the lessons being taught.
