A Little Bit About Me...

I have worked with students of all ages and in all different subject areas. I have recently completed a semester of student teaching in a kindergarten class where I worked with the students on reading and writing skills. I have also worked with older students including an adult with learning disabilities. I have taken and passed seven AP tests: Biology, Calculus, Government, English, Physics, Economics, and Spanish. I can take these subjects and explain them in a comprehensible way by breaking them down to their basic concepts and building from there. A Little Bit About Me...

As a recent graduate of BYU in Business Management (finance emphasis) I have been able to show excellence in my own school work. I have a major GPA of 3.85 (including many Accounting and Finance classes) as well as receiving a 4.0 while taking the “finance core” classes. Receiving a score of “5” on both the Calculus AB and BC tests during high school prepared me for college. Previous tutoring includes training new workers for employment positions (including a customer service representative and a restaurant position). While serving a 2-year mission for the LDS church I was able to train other missionaries. Much of this training included a personalized one-on-one teaching of how to approach, teach, and perform the necessary work.

As a student at UofU and BYU I tutored and was tutored myself. While attending BYU I worked in the student advisement center part-time, mentoring and helping students develop their schedules, and tutored them in subject matter from courses I'd already completed. I served as a volunteer representative for the LDS church for two years in Denmark and Iceland. I speak fluent Danish and Norwegian, and I taught extensively on many topics to all age groups while over there. I've tutored other students, friends, and family in math and math-related fields(up to calculus III level math). I excelled at Math and English composition in school. At my current job I train new team members in restaurant operations as well as handle restaurant finances. I currently work as a manager for Romano's Macaroni Grill in Provo, Murray, and Salt Lake.
