I think it's important to give all children the opportunity to advance and success that education can make a difference in their lives. I believe that using different teaching techniques will allow students to be successful in their learning. I know that when our student has the resource to enhance their learning it will give them the ability for a brighter future.
My previous experience teaching at a Charter School in Texas and teaching at a public school district in Texas. Also, I have taught in the Jackson Public School District in Jackson, MS. During my four years at Millsaps, I gained much more than my degree. I learned how to take vast amounts of information and structure it in a way that allowed me to memorize and retain it. To exit Millsaps College, it is necessary to take an exit exam which is comprehensive. Because of this, I am an authority on the subject of biology. I have also had extensive coursework in the areas of Chemistry (general and organic), physics, English, and many other subjects that really make a transcript necessary to see what an asset I could be to Advanced Learners.
