Learning Can be Fun!

I like to allow the student to read the material once and clarity any areas that need more explanation. Then I will allow them to answer questions from the material read and help them where needed to choose the correct answer and understand the reason for the answers. I like to reward a certain level of correct answers with points that can be redeemed for interesting small prizes. I graduated from the University of Cincinnati majoring in Civil Engineering. While in school, I had two different tutoring jobs. The first job I had was with Mathnasium now known as Lumen Learning Center in West Chester, Ohio. At this job, I taught first grade through Trigonometry. This gave me the experience of working with groups of students in different grade levels and different learning styles.
