I moved from teaching within a classroom to accepting a reading specialist position in a high poverty district. I taught reading interventions for three years before being asked to step in to an instructional coach roll for teachers. This is my current full-time position and I provide feedback and support to elementary teachers in the area of practice, data analysis, Common core methodology, rigor and appropriate curriculum development as well as selection and delivery of instruction.
