I have worked for the past 13 years in accounting and management positions. I started in the Master of Education in the Teaching Arts at Mississippi College this past January and recieved by Class A Teacher's License in June of this year. I am certified to teach grades 4-8 in all four of the major subjects: math, science, social studies and language. I am also certified to teach grades 7-12 in the social studies area: US History, government, geography, and world history. I am also highly qualified to teach accounting and business because of the number of accounting and business classes that I have taken.

While at USM, I served as the Assistant to the Graduate Reader as a graduate student, where my job was to proof graduate and Ph.D. students' theses and dissertations. My teaching style totally depends on my student. Every one has a different learning style, and I try to be adaptable. I believe you must create a relaxed and and supportive atmosphere for the learner. Projecting a sense of confidence in the student goes a long way towards helping him/her achieve his/her educational goal. Lots of time the student has the skills but is not sure enough of himself/herself to proceed. I am just the prompter.
