I am a senior history and anthropology major at the University of Nebraska in Lincoln. I minor in Classics (Latin and History) and German. I have studied Spanish since 2013. I prefer to let my tutoring sessions to be student led. What that means is that rather than treating the sessions like a teacher-student interaction, I let the student take responsibility for the work they want to improve. I have found that students who take control of their own education as opposed to being told to do so perform much better.
