My style of teaching was geared to the individuality of each child and his learning abilities. I feel that each child must learn at his own pace and it is my place to deal with this. I taught middle school Language Arts for three years and thoroughly enjoyed watching my students excel. It thrilled me each time they grasped a new part of speech or attempted a new writing style. I have degrees in English and Physical Education and have learned to draw from sports as a teaching tool for those sports-minded students.
One of the most important things a teacher of Language Arts can get a student to do is write. The more a student writes, the more in tune they become with their own style of expression.
