My teaching style is a student-centered approach. The student is continuously challenged so they gain a better and more long term understanding of the curriculum. This is accomplished through both formal and informal assessments I have taught elementary school for over a decade. During this time I was the team leader, mentor to new teachers, and representative for various school committees. All of our staff members are highly qualified with over 100 hours of training and observations. Our staff develops a specific intervention plan during an initial session with the child. A detailed lesson plan is developed weekly to encompass each student’s strengths and weakness as they progress through the programs. The staff continuously updates and/or revises student goals as the student either masters a particular area or shows difficulty. Each staff member keeps a detailed log on each component of the program that is covered in a particular session. The session notes include the academic performance of each new task. During a weekly meeting, the staff will review each student’s progress for the week and plan additional goals.
