Experience Summary
As a contented student at Full Sail University, I am pursuing a Master's in Fine Arts in Creative Writing. I volunteer for Graduate Honors research in Latino/a Caribbean Studies at the University of South Florida, and serve as a freelance consultant for an aspiring media entertainment company. In addition, my Bachelor’s Degree in Literary Studies, Associates Degree in Education, and professionally polished communication skills are invaluable as a tutor. I have learned to be disciplined and skilled in the acquisition of critical thinking, written communication, analysis, logic and reasoning. To be literate and articulate in various languages is not only handy, but eases the transition of language barriers which allows me to continually acquire polished skills in all forms of expression.
Teaching Style
Possessing strong academic qualifications and leadership give me the advantage in helping others. I offer great ideas and have established expectations that administer consistency and fairness as a leader overseeing the needs of others. Communication is not only speaking but active listening. As an active listener, I offer feedback and answer questions that assist in the learning process. My proactive role in lesson planning is geared toward guided learning. Engaging creatively and intellectually with the students in multiple languages at the secondary and adult levels allows me the unique opportunity to create, maintain, manage, and consistently improve educational relationships with diverse populations.
My Hobbies
I'm an avid reader taking a delight in British literature. As a melody habitué, I find classical music inspires me to become a propitious writer. I enjoy writing poetry and short stories but most of all helping others learn. I am tri-lingual and take much joy in helping others reach their goals.
