My comments on tutoring ACT : I would like to post the disclaimer that I have not taken the ACT myself - I'm an SAT child! However, in high school I did study extensively for both exams, and retain much of my knowledge about how this exam works. In tutoring for the ACT, I offer strategies for optimizing time management on the exam, and getting the most out of the questions posed. I am very interactive with the student and I want them to see me as a friend. I for one do not like to be told what to do and how to do it, that never helps me learn. It is better when you feel you are working towards a common goal with your superior.
