I am very interactive with the student and I want them to see me as a friend. I for one do not like to be told what to do and how to do it, that never helps me learn. It is better when you feel you are working towards a common goal with your superior. I have a BA in Math and a love of logic. When I completed my degree, I was only a few courses shy of a second BA in philosophy. My other loves are spelling, grammar, poetry, literature, mind-activating games and puzzles, and similar activities. For the 2005-2006 school year, I took a long term substitute position for 6 months as a full-time instructor for drop-out prevention high school math students.
