I have previously taught history in public settings including national parks as well as in the classroom. I have both bachelor's and master's degrees in American history and am currently working towards my doctorate. I tutored almost every day during my senior year in high school based off of what I had gone through preparing for both SAT and ACT (35 ACT math/ 800 SAT math/ 800 SAT subject test math level 2/ AP Calculus AB (5) ). My teaching style with younger children is to have a relaxed setting where no pressure in placed upon the student. I'm always sure to review my material before going into a new lecture. When a student is not understanding the material I try to use many methods for then to gain a better understanding.
