I have tutored ACT two sophomores and English to an 8th grade a few months back. I tutored almost every day during my senior year in high school based off of what I had gone through preparing for both SAT and ACT (35 ACT math/ 800 SAT math/ 800 SAT subject test math level 2/ AP Calculus AB (5) ). I had a lot of fun and felt happy to see improvements and still look forward to helping more students excel in both school work and ACT/SAT! My teaching style with younger children is to have a relaxed setting where no pressure in placed upon the student. I'm always sure to review my material before going into a new lecture. When a student is not understanding the material I try to use many methods for then to gain a better understanding.
