Experience Summary
I enjoy teaching and working in the clinical practice performing laboratory tests and analyzing the results. I am enthralled with structures and functions of organisms and continuously intrigued with revelations of newly discovered mechanisms. I find gratification in getting a student to understand a concept being taught and in their expression of the lesson learned. My teaching experiences were acquired while obtaining my Bachelors of Science degree in Biological Sciences with a minor in Chemistry and during graduate level coursework. I have also worked as a tutor in which I have accumulated many experiences in teaching with versatility.
Teaching Style
I start by asking the students to tell me exactly what is it that they not understand and start from there. I then like to work backwards from that point to find where they got lost. I also use everyday concepts to give similiar scenarios to get them on the right track. I find pleasure in seeing their faces light up once they come to understand the subject matter.
