Experience Summary
I am certified in Alabama and Georgia as a professional educator. In Georgia, I am certified in elementary and middle grades). As a Highly Qualified Teacher in Alabama, I am certified P-6 expiring in 2015. I have altogether 15 years experience tutoring students from ages 6-24 year olds tutoring college students in Economics, Math, and Speech. I earned a Masters Degree in Elementary Education in May 2005 and a Bachelors in Accounting. I taught three years in a school district in Alabama and currently substitute teach for Muscogee County in Columbus and Fort Benning.
Teaching Style
I strive to be one of the most effective teachers possible by understanding each student’s needs. I am committed to students and their learning by showing compassion, confidence, equality, and fairness. I show responsibility and accountability for managing and monitoring student learning. I believe knowledge is the most basic of academic skills and can be taught to all students. I love being a self-motivator that possess loyalty, flexibility in job performances, and multi-tasking. I diligently encourage students to enjoy learning and to live comfortably in this world while helping to reshape it for the future.
