Most of my experience stems from my Bachelor of Arts degree at Wartburg College, Waverly, IA. As a Biology major, I have a good background in Life Sciences and Math. I have several study techniques that helped me succeed in college, as well as my current career as a Scientist Integrated DNA technologies in Coralville, IA. Some of my past experiences include working at a summer camp for two years as well as two years in an Emergency Room at a small hospital. I have learned to change and adapt to the needs of the person I am assisting and feel that, as a tutor, this could be a valuable asset.

I feel I have a unique teaching style. Because I have tutored students from sophomore in high school to sophomore in college, I have learned to tailor my teaching style to each specific student. For instance, I have used mnemonics, assignment homework assignments, and suggested drawing diagrams or rewriting notes to help students learn. Additionally, I am a highly dedicated individual and will not ever give up or quit on any student who wants to learn.
