My teacher style is a mixture of ballet, contemporary, and jazz fusion.
I have attended UNC School of the Arts for 7 1/2 Years studying modern/contemporary dance. I have also been trained in ballet, jazz, and have experience doing yoga, and Pilates. I am reliable, and very determined to teach those who are willing to be taught. I have done performances, and taught in New York, Winston-Salem, and Virginia.

I went to Ohio State in Art, then graduated at Ohio U. I taught 14 years in Florida and Ohio , grades 1 through 12; all subjects. I taught using primarily Art and music. My areas of expertise are Reading, Literature, English, and the arts. I have acted in Little Theatre, choreographed, and taught Drama in High School and in College. I believe that first and foremost, teachers should inspire students to not only live up to their own potential, but to exceed their expectations and realize that they can meet and surpass any goal they set for themselves. I encourage students to take risks, knowing that I am behind them being fully supportive. My teaching style varies depending on what student I am teaching. A Little Bit About Me...

I myself am a visual and auditory learner, so I am very open to all types of teaching styles. I find that people learn better when several avenues of learning are available for a subject. Also repetition is a very important device for making knowledge permanent. I like to bring a fun and light atmosphere to learning.
While working on my undergrad I was given the opportunity to be a teaching assistant for a freshman college level film theory and design class. During this opportunity I was responsible for grading the daily work of our students, as well as being a resource for the students design projects. I taught lectures based on film theory and design, as well as specific pieces of film.
