Hands on, and more of an application study. I believe that the only way to actually understand something is being able to apply it to real world situations.
My experience is all in college. I had 9 Labs in college in all my science courses. I excelled very well in my science courses and i keep learning. Did great in my research project class. Played college baseball so i am great with athletes that do not want to study. I can break down big concepts into smaller concepts that is understandable for all students in the academia process. I believe I have a good mental connection with children. Teaching Math is not just about solving problems, using specific methods, equations & formulas that the student has to memorize, and then will forget after a couple days. It's about understanding the problems, it's about knowing where the problem is, and how to solve it using basic Math knowledge and some axioms, step by step, even reinventing the answer, if possible.
