Hands on, and more of an application study. I believe that the only way to actually understand something is being able to apply it to real world situations.
My experience is all in college. I had 9 Labs in college in all my science courses. I excelled very well in my science courses and i keep learning. Did great in my research project class. Played college baseball so i am great with athletes that do not want to study. I can break down big concepts into smaller concepts that is understandable for all students in the academia process. A Little Bit About Me...

Most of my adult life has been spent in the arena of teaching and mentoring. My undergraduate degree, a B.S. in Biology, was largely a platform for the many other courses taken in order to teach mathematics and sciences more effectively. I completed my BS degree in electrical engineering in 2007. While pursing that degree, I took coursework in Math (through Calc I-III, Differential Equations, and Linear Systems Analysis) Physics, and Chemistry. Following graduation I worked as a project engineer constructing and commissioning an oil refinery in southwest Asia. Among with my technical responsibilities, I participated in training future local operators via translator.
To begin, I have always loved science and working with numbers. I'm very patient when trying to explain a topic to someone. A Little Bit About Me...

I have taught children how to sail for about 10 years now. These children range in groups of 5-15 and ages 5 to adult. This requires not only instruction, but First Aid and CPR certifications and safety procedures. I also am now a Spanish professor at a local community college, teaching a Medical Spanish class to nursing students.
