I lived in Germany for 9 years, moved back to the states in 2010. I attended 7 years of school in Germany, where German was the primary language spoken. In 2011 I became a teachers assistant for my German teacher at Wakefield High School, Raleigh NC. I also went to Wakefield Middle School and taught 20 kids, once a week German, for 3 months.

My comments on tutoring German : I am a native German and a certified German teacher. I am teaching German right now and have been teaching the language for the past 8 years at all levels.

I taught German for 15 years in Public as well as Private schools in North Carolina. I am a native German speaker and received my teaching degree in Germany with a major in German. Besides teaching in my native country, I also taught German to French students ( 2 years) while living in the suburbs of Paris for 10 years. After my move to the US I first taught French for several years in a charter school before the school added German as a Foreign Language besides French and Spanish. A Little Bit About Me...

For my first experience in teaching, I worked with both high school and elementary school students who were learning disabled and in need of help. I used the Orton-Gillingham method for dyslexia and found that it really seemed to work well to suit the student’s needs. From there I went on to work two years in resource rooms working with middle school and high school students in a one-on-one and group setting for intense tutoring.
